The secondary school “Ugo Foscolo”, in viale Marconi in Cagliari, will be closed from tomorrow until Friday 13th due to a rodent control operation. The request arrived at the Municipality today, signed by the school principal Daniela Montisci, and the relative provision was adopted.

The intervention will be carried out by the operators of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, in the internal rooms of the school . The activity will be carried out from 8:30 tomorrow, with a ban on transit and parking until 7:30 on Friday, the day on which the traps will be collected. Once removed, before the institute can reopen, it will be necessary to ventilate and clean the disinfested rooms.

This is the second time that the "Ugo Foscolo" school has been closed due to rats in 2024 : from 11 to 18 January, the students had stayed home because "biological material attributable to rats" had been found inside the building.
