Following the prerogatives at the Provincial Committee for public order and safety in Cagliari, held in the Prefecture on 6 February, the Police carried out the clearance of the building in via Abruzzi in Cagliari, home of the former Alagon School.

The building, abandoned for years, had long become a meeting place for homeless people. Already evicted in recent months and walled up, it was then arbitrarily reoccupied again.

During the activities in question, coordinated by the Police Headquarters, with the assistance of the Carabinieri, in aid of the Local Police of Cagliari, a total of 7 people were identified (6 men and one woman), of which two foreigners: one of these last, irregular on the national territory, was accompanied to the CPR of Macomer, for the start of the repatriation procedures.

The company, appointed by the Municipality of Cagliari, is proceeding to free the property from the household goods present, and then proceed to make it safe.
