Day of celebration at the Botanical Garden of Cagliari , which today celebrates 157 years since its foundation on 15 November 1866.

A few hundred people, including several children on a guided tour with schools, stopped in the green lung of the University in via Sant'Ignazio, taking advantage of the free access provided for the whole day on the occasion of the anniversary.

And the new signage installed between the avenues , the exhibited collections and the Botanical Museum was also presented as an activity. «For us it is very important because it enriches the Botanical Garden: it was desired by the previous administration and I am proud to inaugurate it», said director Annalena Cogoni. « These posters have a scientific rigor, but also an extremely informative approach . I thank all the people who work at the Botanical Garden and all the people who came here today: we didn't expect this welcome, it shows that we are doing what we do to communicate to citizens in the correct way."
