It contained an active ingredient with a THC concentration almost ten times higher than the legal limit for legal cultivation. For this reason, the Carabinieri in Orgosolo arrested a man on charges of illegal cultivation of narcotics.

The operation began yesterday in Sorasi, in the Orgosolo countryside, where officers from the Pratobello Squadron and the Orgosolo Station located a cannabis plantation without the required identification signs. After monitoring the site, the Carabinieri intervened as the man was cutting branches from the plants to hang them on wires and begin drying them.

During subsequent checks, 640 seedlings and large quantities of already dried inflorescences were seized.
