A 30-year-old resident in Oristano was arrested yesterday by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile of Cagliari.

The military intervened at the "Magazzini Maury's" in Viale Marconi at the request of the security personnel with whom the man had had a scuffle in an attempt to escape after being intercepted.

The arrested man had stolen 16 packs of "L'Oreal" brand face cream which were returned to the rightful owner, he was also found in possession of 2 credit cards, 3 ATM cards, 2 brown leather wallets, 7 bundles of keys, 2 remote controls for automatic gate. Material for which he provided no justification. Finally he had a multipurpose knife with a plastic handle with a total length of 16.5 centimeters of which 8 were the blade.

The 30-year-old will be subjected to trial today with a very direct procedure.
