The long-awaited news has arrived: State Road 195, between Cagliari and the Macchiareddu roundabout, has reopened to traffic on "both lanes." This is according to an order from Anas , which states that the reopening of the road, devastated by the fury of Cyclone Harry, will be effective from 4:00 PM today in the section "between km 5+220 and km 8+830."

To ensure safety while also encouraging the resumption of vehicular traffic for all types of users, a " speed limit of 50 km/h " and a " lane narrowing between km 7+250 and km 8+700 " are planned.

Further consolidation work – Anas further specifies in a note – will be carried out subsequently, upon the opening of the “Contivecchi” road junction.
