Between waiting, accelerations, back-passes, rebounds, postponements and, above all, bureaucracy, the process for the new Cagliari stadium seems like a game of snakes and ladders. Two steps forward, then one back. With the risk of having to start all over again.
Two days ago, finally, the turning point that accelerates the construction of the new rossoblù home: the designers have sent the Environment the very last requested integrations and now the conference of services of the Region that must decide on the environmental impact assessment can resume its journey after having been "frozen" for the last three months.
«The path of the new stadium, taken up by the municipal administration in harmony with the Region with the program agreement of December 2024, continues apace», explains the Sports Councilor Giuseppe Macciotta.
By the end of July, if there are no new hitches, the final green light should also arrive with a resolution from the Regional Council (the famous fear, which represents the biggest obstacle in this administrative phase).
