According to the accusation, the two alleged organizations would have had a network of approximately 250 customers a day to whom they could sell the drugs .
Once the investigation by the Flying Squad, renamed "Piazza Castelli" , was closed, the deputy prosecutor of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, Rossana Allieri, asked for all 27 people who ended up in the investigation to be sent to trial : they will have to appear on January 24th before the judge for the preliminary hearings Elisabetta Patrito .
The two bands
At the head of one of the two gangs, again according to the DDA, were Fabrizio Manca (37 years old) and Samuele Gatti (33) who managed the drug dealing activity in via Castelli, purchasing the narcotic from Marco Pisano (40), known "Palpoff", with headquarters in his house in via Ardenne, in the pizzeria in via Bosco Cappuccio and in the "construction site" in via Puglia, in San Michele.
The investigations, which lasted from 2019 to 2020 with environmental and telephone interceptions, led to the registration of 27 people in the register of suspects, 17 of whom had already been arrested red-handed over the years with the agents seizing 10 kilos of drugs and 50 thousand EUR.
According to the prosecution's reconstruction, in addition to the two alleged leaders of the organisation, Emilio Cardu (41), Claudio Costa (42), Stefano Fidio (41), Paolo Jlassi (25), Thomas Loi (35), Natascia Marras (49), Alessandra Noli (46), Omar Pes (43), Emanuele Pinna (26), Gianluca Polastri (23), Roberto Pusceddu (44), Micol Puzzoni (37), Alessio Salisci ( 54), Andrea Sarigu (41) and Gabriele Zucca (34).
The group would have had different roles including pushers, custodians and lookouts .
The second alleged gang, led by Marco Pisano, would have included his brother William (36), Marco Coni (37), Stefano Vacca (32), Fabio Zoncheddu (24) and Antonio Incostante (24). Riccardo Aliberti (49), Gabriele Campanale (34), Graziano Carlini (31) and Gianluca Pibia (31) were also involved during the investigations.
Only some of the suspects are accused of associative crimes, the rest are isolated drug dealing charges.
The preliminary hearing
Judge Elisabetta Patrito will decide on the requests for indictment by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate. The defense lawyers will also formulate any requests for alternative rites to you.
The 27 defendants have already appointed their trusted lawyers: they are Riccardo Floris, Herika Dessì, Marco Fausto Piras, Teresa Camoglio, Marcella Cabras, Mauro Mura, Cinzia Lilliu, Davide Mascia, Claudia Delvecchio, Roberto Peara, Giulia Lai, Francesco Marongiu, Fabio Basile, Desolina Farris and Marco Lisu.
To accommodate all the defendants (some of whom are in precautionary custody) and their respective defenders, the Court of Assizes room will be made available.
