A square filled with voices, heartbeats, and sounds. Yesterday, Cagliari joined many other Italian cities in raising awareness of Gaza, where people are dying of hunger and thirst.

In the heart of Cagliari's historic center, the march passed through the city's main streets, aiming not only to show solidarity, but also to proclaim to the world that hunger, used as a weapon, is a war crime. And that the world must no longer stand by and watch. "We resist with them by making noise" is the slogan that will echo through the city streets.

"Let's make noise for those who no longer have a voice," say the organizers, united in an appeal to all, without flags or distinctions. With Palestine in their hearts, women, men, families, and young people gathered to carry drums, pots, instruments, clapping, and words into the streets. To say that Gaza's resistance has not been forgotten. That the children, women, and the entire civilian population under siege are not alone.

The nonpartisan initiative "also aims to denounce the international complicity that fuels violence and apartheid, calling for justice and freedom for all oppressed peoples."
