The Guardia di Finanza of the Provincial Command of Cagliari executed 15 search and seizure orders issued, respectively, by the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Court of Cagliari for embezzlement, fraud in the exercise of commerce, sale of industrial products with false markings and self-laundering.

The military personnel of the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza, with the assistance of 5 other units of the Corps located throughout the Sardinian territory, proceeded with the preventive seizure of approximately 9,000 LPG cylinders and, overall, 21,100 kg of liquid propane gas (stored in warehouses, resellers and parking areas without any safety requirements and certifications as well as in regular dealers who were improperly storing the product beyond the permitted volumetric capacity). Approximately 6,000 kg of liquid propane gas were found in a tanker parked in a privately owned dirt area.

At the end of the activity, the 3 owners of the irregular warehouses and the owner of a shop selling LPG in cylinders were reported for lack of the required authorizations for fire prevention and safety in the workplace.
