Music that becomes the engine and soul of spirituality, a tool for listening and caring for the world. On Saturday 20 July in Cagliari, at 9pm, in the Basilica of Nostra Signora di Bonaria, "Mama, Fiza and Isposa de Su Segnore" is scheduled, the event on the theme of the protection of creation, which is considered the largest concert of sacred music from Sardinia, with over 600 parishes and almost a thousand choirs invited.

There will be 50 choristers from the Diocese of Rome directed by Monsignor Marco Frisina, an internationally renowned priest, biblical scholar and composer, accompanied by 40 musicians from the Cagliari Conservatory of Music. For the occasion, Frisina reworked, for choir and orchestra, the well-known Sardinian composition “Deus Ti Salvet Maria”.

Repeat the following day, at 10am, again in Bonaria, on the occasion of the Sunday mass. The choir directed by Marco Frisina will be accompanied, this time, by the Choirs of the Basilica. It is an opportunity to remember Don Alberto Pistolesi, who died in 2021 following a road accident, who would have turned 45 in recent days. He left behind a great spiritual heritage and indelible memories of his experience as a priest.

Don Mariano Matzeu, head of the diocesan youth ministry, presented the intense two days with them.
