Objects were thrown at houses and cars, then oranges and lemons were thrown at the police.

Carabinieri from the Cagliari Sant'Avendrace station responded overnight to Piazza San Michele after several worried calls to the emergency number 112 from alarmed residents. A group of four youths were throwing objects at homes and parked cars.
The Carabinieri police car was also targeted by the pelting of oranges and lemons. The perpetrators, all young men, then fled into nearby streets and disappeared without a trace. During their escape, they lost a paper bomb, a homemade device weighing approximately one kilogram, which was secured and recovered by specialized personnel from the Investigative Unit's Bomb Squad.
The hunt for young people is now also being conducted using the area's video surveillance systems.
Since the early hours of the morning , the Carabinieri have been carrying out a careful reconnaissance of the neighborhood : an extraordinary territorial control service involving patrols from the Cagliari Sant'Avendrace, Villanova, and Pirri stations and the Radiomobile Section, with air support from the Carabinieri helicopter, to intensify their presence in the area, search for those responsible for the act and prevent the repetition of similar incidents.
