The Arcari Room of the Faculty of Economic, Legal and Political Sciences of Cagliari is closed.

There is no safety seal outside, but the cause seems to be the detachment of some panels of the false ceiling : "We know that there is a water leak" they explain from the student association UniCaralis, but the extent of the damage or the lack of involvement of students, for university students "it does not diminish the fear".

«One year after the collapse of the Vardabasso Hall at the University there continue to be serious structural problems - explains Matteo Pisu, coordinator of UniCaralis - therefore the checks announced on the safety of the buildings either did not take place, or were very superficial».

The hall, with a capacity of 113 people, was habitually frequented until yesterday. For Pisu "we are faced with yet another near-tragedy, and what is equally serious is that the University did not inform the students of this collapse, it only closed the door and moved the lessons".

Still no news from Unica , in the meantime the university students are asking "that the University limits the proclamations and restructures - concludes Pisu - we as an association will alert the firefighters from now on, we want guarantees of usability and safety".
