Cagliari, motorbikes against cars on the median axis: centaur on the ground and traffic at a standstill

Road accident this afternoon in Cagliari , on the Median Axis , where a motorbike crashed into a moving car . It happened at the height of the slip road that leads from Via dei Conversi to the two-lane road , towards Sestu.

The car, perhaps to facilitate motorists arriving from Genneruxi, moved into the overtaking lane, where the impact occurred.

According to initial information, the centaur was thrown from the vehicle , which overturned . Municipality and 118 on site for investigations and rescue. Traffic remained blocked for hours, with endless queues of vehicles. The road system was then restored.
