Michele Tronci, the seventeen-year-old student from the Alberti scientific high school in Cagliari who participated in the Informatics Olympiad which concluded in Udine today, returns home with a bronze medal .
The student, originally from Sarroch , showed off all his talent by achieving a highly prestigious result , which places him among the best-prepared young people in Italy in the IT field.
For Michele, the one in Udine is only the final act of a long journey that began in December 2024 , with an initial selection in which 13,845 students from all regions participated, later increased to 1066, and finally 100. Michele Tronci had also participated in the mathematics olympics last May, demonstrating in the team competition a thorough preparation in this subject as well.
For the seventeen-year-old from Sarroch, the bronze medal is certainly not a point of arrival, but a springboard towards greater results that, given his passion for study, he will surely be able to achieve.
