He blows out his hundredth candle with a few close friends and two tricolor sashes: Luciano Dettori is the new centenary of Cagliari.

Already a Knight of the Republic, wounded in the Second World War, he lived the harsh experience of imprisonment in the Balkans and Nazi concentration camps. An official at the INPS in Cagliari, Luciano Dettori was also a boxer at competitive levels. Celebrating it were the mayor of the capital, Paolo Truzzu, and his colleague from Berchidda, Andrea Nieddu, (his godson) who presented a plaque to the centenary which contains a reflection on the meaning of life and affections.
