There are 12 irregular workers caught in Cagliari during checks by the Metropolitan Area Inspectorate (IAM) carried out over the weekend in bars, restaurants and other nightlife venues.

In the outskirts of the city , in a place used as a bar, restaurant and pizzeria, five workers were caught working illegally : a cook, a dishwasher, two waiters and a home delivery person. In a pizzeria in the city, however, the presence of a cook without a regular contract or insurance was ascertained. For both businesses, in addition to the sanctions, the measure of suspension of business activity was adopted for exceeding the 10% work threshold.

Also last weekend , two further checks were carried out in two other places of the Cagliari “movida” with the support of the local police and the Carabinieri.

In the first venue , two disc jockeys with their own equipment and three performers of a show dedicated to a musical band were discovered, for which prior notification was not given.

In the second club, a disc jockey was caught completely without prior notice of employment, regulatory and insurance protections : he will be charged a huge fine for undeclared work and his business activity will be suspended for exceeding the legal limit of undeclared work.
