Noise, banners, and a long human cordon lined Via Roma to say "enough" to the war in Gaza. "Can't stay silent – the race of indignation" began this evening in Cagliari, a peaceful demonstration aiming to bring together dozens of runners, walkers, and cyclists.
The meeting was at 7:30 pm in front of the Regional Palace on Via Roma. Participants, many carrying Palestinian flags or wearing white clothing as a sign of solidarity, observed a minute of silence before marching through the streets of the city center.
The march then split into two groups—walkers and runners—both heading toward Piazza del Carmine , where the crowd regrouped to chant and chant slogans against the conflict. The procession then moved to the Bastione, the final point of the demonstration.
Organizers and participants emphasized the peaceful nature of the initiative, authorized by the Police Headquarters, inviting everyone to "make noise" with drums, whistles, and megaphones.
The goal, they explain, is to raise public awareness and "show closeness to the Palestinian people under siege."
