Cagliari has a new centenary: it is Mr. Angelo Lobina, born in Siurgus Donigala on 9 April 1922, but residing in the capital since 1956, where he raised his family together with his wife Virginia.

The administration also paid tribute to Lobina, with the visit of the president of the municipal council Edoardo Tocco, who wanted to personally congratulate him on behalf of all citizens, giving him a souvenir parchment and a celebratory medal.

“At his ripe old age, Lobina - fond of reading and card games - never gives up on the daily walk that allows him to keep fit. Three daughters, a son, three grandchildren and a great-grandson, Lobina began his career as a hauler and then opened a grocery store with his wife ”, explains a note from the town hall.

“Widowed, he drove his car until 1993 and has now replaced it with long rides. During which he also takes the opportunity to go shopping in order to better manage his life that he leads in complete independence in his home ".
