Suspension and revocation of the concession: this is the content of the very heavy measure adopted by the Productive Activities service of the Municipality of Cagliari against Cuadro Srl, the company that manages the very central Ex Tipografia premises, on the corner between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Largo Carlo Felice.

It all starts from some reports from the local police, who following some inspections had contested some violations of the rules on the occupation of public land on the sidewalk.

In particular, on 27 March, "excess occupancy per square meter of 20.10 compared to the granted surface area of 28.00 square meters and therefore greater than 30% compared to the limit assigned with the current concession" and the "exceeding of the density of the furnishings granted and indicated in the concession: 39 chairs instead of 24 and 2 mushroom stoves and 10 unauthorized planters".

Certainly not a disfigurement of the characteristics of the area. But a flood that becomes fatal for the place, especially at the opening of the tourist season.

Despite the proposal to commute the "penalty" into the payment of money, also by virtue of another report, the offices decided to order "the suspension of the concession for a total of 66 days within 24 months" but also "to order, consequently, the forfeiture of the concession of land in force serving the business called "ex Tipografia"". The measure takes effect immediately.
