Cagliari, drug dealing in the squares of Pirri and Sant'Elia: nine sentences

In recent days, the trial against a network of alleged drug dealers who ended up in the crosshairs of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate and the Carabinieri Investigative Unit ended before the judge of the Court, Roberto Cau: an investigation born from a larger one on an alleged drug trafficking on the Spain-Turin axis managed by a real criminal association.
In the vein that reached the sentence, the convictions concern the alleged management of a part of the squares of Pirri and Sant'Elia, in Cagliari .
After the abbreviated trial, Alberto Partolino and Pierpaolo Serci, from Cagliari, were sentenced the former to 8 years' imprisonment, the latter to 2 years (in continuation to another sentence of 4 years and 8 months). Sentences also for Gianmatteo Cuccu (3 years), Vincenzo Lecciso (one year), Paolo Nicolas Lugas (6 years), Carlo Alberto Piano (one year), Sara Noemi Salis (one and a half years), Cristian Serci (one year) and Francesco Vadilonga (6 and a half years in prison).
In fourteen, on the other hand, they decided to reach an agreement with the magistrate of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, agreeing on the penalties which were then deemed appropriate by the Court. Daniela Aresu has bargained for 4 years, while Ferdinando Belfiori will have to serve 2 years. The other settlements concern Ivan Berosi (one and a half years), Andrea Boi (3 years), Mariano Bruni (2 years), Roberto Coiana (one and a half years), Gianfilippo Masala (2 and a half years), Danilo Melis (2 years and 8 months), Stefano Pandolfi (4 years and 5 months), Stefano Pau (one year and a half), Francesco Pinna (3 years), Giovanni Battista Pinna (5 years), Manolo Puddu (3 years and 10 months), Fabrizio Serra (5 years) and Fabrizio Virdis (4 and a half years in prison).
Many of the defendants also appear in the proceedings known as "El Dorado" , in which the criminal conspiracy is contested.
