They had a well-established drug dealing network in the Piazza del Carmine area. They continued their operations even during the red zone, which requires intensified police checks. However, the drug dealing operations of a Gambian and an Algerian national, particularly active between Via Sassari and Via Malta, were interrupted by the Falcons of the Cagliari Police Headquarters' Flying Squad.

The two, recently arrested in Piazza del Carmine by the police, in particular the Gambian for drug dealing and the Algerian for robbery, are believed to have been part of a structured system: the drugs were hidden in different places in the neighborhood, the scales kept at a distance and the money handed over to other individuals, so as to evade any checks.

The procedures were always the same: rapid exchanges, lookouts near the access roads, constant movements to "muddy the waters." The police, however, reconstructed the mechanism, documented several transfers, and intervened with a raid late Saturday evening.

The two were arrested red-handed after several drug deals: subsequent checks revealed doses of hashish intended for sale, cash, and two precision scales in separate locations among flower boxes and electricity supplier boxes .

Since the red zone was established, the State Police have checked approximately 200 people, 60 of whom were foreigners, with the removal and prohibition of 11 people, 7 of whom were foreigners.
