Hammers, wooden planks, nails, props: technicians and workers go back and forth from the red zone. After four months, in via Dettori in Cagliari there is once again a coming and going of workers, trucks, of dust that rises. The second phase of the construction site, the one most awaited by residents and business owners, has begun: the workers are setting up the new construction site in view of the arrival of cranes and machinery that will be used to dig underground and investigate the causes of landslides.

"The safety nets have already been placed, now the dismantling of the woodshed and some props is being completed to allow the machinery to enter the construction site", explains Gabriella Deidda, councilor for public works.

Once the woodshed has been disassembled, the first step will be to lift the paving stones, then we will proceed with the excavation to understand what was the cause that created the landslides, endangering the stability of the buildings.

Everything will take place under the supervision of the Superintendence, the CTU appointed by the Court, engineer Fausto Mistretta, and the experts appointed by the residents (such as engineer Pietro Paolo Mossone).

The inhabitants, homeless for four months, have been waiting since 8 January. Since, that is, in one night everything changed and their normality suddenly ended.
