Cagliari: damages a vending machine to steal the money. The carabinieri descend on via della Pineta

The 55-year-old arrested during the night in Cagliari by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile is accused of attempted aggravated theft.

Around 4.30 he entered the "Priscilla" refreshment point in via della Pineta, open 24 hours a day, and using a large fragment of cement, to open it, damaged the safety deposit box of one of the food and drink vending machines to get hold of the money.

It was a citizen who alerted 112 and the military arrived on the spot: the man was blocked. The damage is estimated at around 2,500 euros.

The 55-year-old will go to trial today by express.
