A 24-year-old convicted of murder was stopped yesterday morning by a Cagliari road patrol while driving in the streets of the center.
The officers, attracted by the vehicle which was making loud noises, stopped him after a car chase. The boy then tried to flee on foot but failed to lose track of him. The investigations also revealed that the young man, on whom a murder sentence is pending, is in a reward permit regime granted by the Judicial Authority, to work in a shop in Sarroch, where he should have remained for a few days before returning to the juvenile by Quartucciu.
Among the requirements imposed by the provision, in addition to the residence, the twenty-four year old could not drive motor vehicles. He tested positive for alcohol and was charged with driving under the influence.
