Not just a green rectangle. This afternoon, Cagliari Calcio took to the field on a special pitch to participate in the “ Suspended Gift ” initiative, created by UNICEF Italy in collaboration with Clementoni. The protagonists of the event were Roberto Piccoli and Gianluca Gaetano who, at the ARNAS G. Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari, together with the President of UNICEF Sardinia Giuseppe Masnata , the President of UNICEF Cagliari Paolo Ligas and the Fire Brigade of the Cagliari Command , delivered the   “Suspended Gift”   to the children present in the hospital facility.

" We were honored to take part in this beautiful initiative. For us, giving a smile and a few moments of joy in the ward is truly exciting, these are moments that represent a privilege and a great emotion, and it is important that an organization like Cagliari Calcio brings its message and its closeness in certain contexts. Thanks to the children and their families who have transmitted their affection to us, to them our good luck and that of the whole team", this is the comment of the two rossoblù at the end of a beautiful and emotional afternoon of solidarity.

Inside the gift box, illustrated by the   street artist Roman Merioone and dedicated to the theme of children's rights, the children found a booklet of games and activities, Memo cards on children's rights, stickers and the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescents in simple words.
