He enters construction sites and steals wallets from builders' jackets .

A 33-year-old from Quartu , already known for similar precedents, was reported by the police of the San Bartolomeo station in Cagliari for aggravated theft.

At least two incidents were disputed, the young unemployed man was framed by the images of the video surveillance cameras. He entered the construction sites while the workers were at work and, taking advantage of the fact that the bricklayers leave their jackets and lunch thermos in an area other than the one in which they work, he managed to steal their wallets .

The first theft occurred on 11 December in Cagliari in via Aquilone , the victim being a 38-year-old worker. The second ten days later in Via dei Cigni , in this case a 45-year-old bricklayer was robbed.

The perpetrator of the thefts is the same thief caught red-handed two days ago for a similar episode, and stopped by the police after a futile attempt to escape on a bicycle . Given the modus operandi, it is probable that there have been other similar thefts and the police expect further complaints.
