Cagliari, beats parents: two years of house arrest for a 23 year old

A 23-year-old from Cagliari must serve two years under house arrest for continuous mistreatment of his parents.

The Carabinieri of Sant'Avendrace arrested him yesterday on the orders of the surveillance office of the Court of Cagliari.

The young man, an unemployed man well known to the police, had been sentenced by the GUP in November 2023 for mistreatment in the family, the sentence became enforceable in December and yesterday the military notified him of the provision by accompanying him to his home.
