Cagliari: beaten and robbed, the episode in via Salaris

Violence yesterday in Cagliari. A 45-year-old Brazilian was attacked at night by two young men who beat him to steal his backpack.

The man asked for help from the police who, upon arriving in via Salaris, set out on the trail of those responsible, identifying one of them. The latter, upon seeing the soldiers, threw the stolen backpack to the ground. The victim, who suffered facial injuries and was taken to the emergency room of the Monserrato Polyclinic, recognized him. This is a 31-year-old from Monserrato domiciled in Cagliari, reported for robbery and personal injury.

The police are now investigating to trace the identity of the accomplice.
