He tried to steal a man's purse on a CTM bus in Cagliari .
The episode occurred on Wednesday evening on line 5, in via Roma , and a dispute broke out during which a knife was also seen .
The story ended with the arrest of a 54-year-old in a wheelchair for attempted aggravated robbery.
The bus driver requested police intervention, reporting an argument between two men, one of whom was armed with a knife.
The Volanti crew reached the vehicle in via Roma. The officers saw the two men, one sitting in a wheelchair trying to take the bag from another standing. The criminal tried to hide the kitchen knife, 11 cm blade, between the seats, but was seen by the police who recovered the weapon.
The 54-year-old, known to the police for similar precedents, was taken to the police station and arrested. The investigating judge then validated the arrest and ordered precautionary custody in prison .
