After more than two months of hiatus, work resumed on the construction site in via Roma, in Cagliari , which had been interrupted due to the discovery of some archaeological finds (ancient walls) in front of the regional council.

The workers of the company that was awarded the contract for the construction of the project conceived by the architect Stefano Boeri returned to the field yesterday. The news was announced by Mayor Paolo Truzzu: " We were at a standstill because we were waiting for a particular material, the geotextile, which will be used to cover the finds and secure them as requested by the Superintendency".

The installation of rainwater collection pipes and deposition tanks is underway. «With the company», assures the mayor, «we will try to recover all the time to close the works as soon as possible».
