Martina Lattuca, 49, a bookstore clerk from Cagliari, is the woman who disappeared this morning in Calamosca . Her family is appealing for help: anyone with information or information about her should contact 112, the emergency number.
The woman was caught this morning on surveillance cameras at Terrazze, a popular seaside restaurant: after leaving her car parked in front, she took the path leading to the top of Sella del Diavolo. It was raining, and she had an umbrella with her.
Since then, nothing has been heard from her. Her partner raised the alarm that afternoon when he didn't see her return home.
Firefighters, carabinieri, and Sardinian Alpine and Speleological Rescue teams arrived in Calamosca, while a Coast Guard patrol boat conducted a search at sea.
Ground teams combed the entire promontory inch by inch. The search continued even after dark, with the help of drones.
But until late that evening, no trace of Martina Lattuca was found: her phone had a cell connection to Margine Rosso, but this did not determine her precise location.
