On November 1st and 2nd , days traditionally linked to the commemoration of the dead, the Municipality of Cagliari is opening a safe route to visitors in the Bonaria Monumental Cemetery , allowing them to pay homage to their loved ones in safety even within the areas recently closed to the public.
The temporary opening of the trail was ordered by a mayoral decree signed by Mayor Massimo Zedda , and is part of the protective measures adopted to ensure the safety of visitors during commemorative visits.
The affected areas have been cordoned off and made accessible via safe routes, in accordance with Ordinance No. 19/2025, which mandated monitoring of certain high-risk areas.
The city cemeteries (Bonaria, San Michele, and Pirri) will be open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Monday, November 3.
