There is also the Sardinian Manuella among the 16 finalists of the 37th edition of Musicultura , the prestigious A competition dedicated to popular and singer-songwriter music, focusing on original proposals, especially from young artists. Among the many artists who have found understanding and a springboard in Musicultura over the years are Gianmaria Testa, Lucio Corsi, Simone Cristicchi, Margherita Vicario, Mannarino, La Rappresentante di Lista, Santi Francesi, Patrizia Laquidara, Pacifico, Santamarea, and Anna Castiglia.
The Musicultura 2026 finalists will be presented as a national preview in Recanati on April 23 and 24 at the Persiani Theatre , at 9 pm. The two evenings, which will have Raphael Gualazzi as guest, will be broadcast on Rai Radio1 , Musicultura's official radio station, with video streaming on Ranews.it and on Musicultura's social media.
Sassari native Manuella, stage name Manuela Manca, is a finalist with her song "Undi è l'amori?" It will be included in the compilation of the 37th Musicultura festival and will be picked up and broadcast on Rai Radio1. Eight winners of the competition will be selected by Musicultura's Artistic Guarantee Committee. They will perform at the Festival's final evenings, scheduled for June 19 and 20, 2026, at the Sferisterio stadium in Macerata. There, the public will vote to elect the overall winner, who will receive the €20,000 Banca Macerata Prize. The Piero Cesanelli Critics' Award (€3,000), the "Grotte di Frasassi" Prize (€2,000), and the Best Lyrics Prize (€2,000) will also be awarded, in collaboration with the Universities of Macerata and Camerino.
