It was a morning of disruption for residents and businesses on Viale Diaz in Cagliari: workers working on the metro construction site damaged a pipeline, leaving the area without water until the afternoon, when it was restored.

During the excavation, a section of pipe was inadvertently damaged. Until the repair was completed, pressure drops and temporary interruptions were reported in the affected section, as well as on Viale Colombo and Via Campidano.

The taps at the nearby Alberti High School also ran dry: given the situation, the students were sent home.
