A morning of disruption for residents and businesses on Viale Diaz in Cagliari: workers working on the metro construction site damaged a pipeline, leaving the area without water.

During excavation, a section of pipeline was inadvertently damaged. Until the repair is complete, pressure drops and temporary interruptions are expected in the affected section, as well as on Viale Colombo and Via Campidano.

The taps at the nearby Alberti High School also ran dry: given the situation, the students were sent home.
