A fishing boat caught fire this afternoon in Cagliari, in the “Sa Perdixedda” area.

The vessel, for reasons still under investigation, was severely damaged by the fire, which released a thick column of black smoke, visible from several neighborhoods of the city.

Numerous firefighting teams were on site to put out the blaze and secure the area, preventing the flames from spreading to other moored boats.
