12 hours in the emergency room of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari for a fracture .

For university professor Franciscu Sedda , who is also involved in politics, what initially envisaged as a domestic accident has become an ordeal. “10 hours for an x-ray. I received apologies from the doctors who tried to do everything possible », says Sedda.

The delay was caused by some emergency - not very serious - but also "the lack of personnel and the fact that the X-ray machine was broken ". Critical issues that Asl 8 knows well and are trying to solve with a plan to improve services, with a new radiological device and a new CAT scan.

«The examination is also carried out in the Radiology headquarters. We must have some patience. Tac is a very important service that we want to restore as soon as possible. We hope to succeed in a short time", assures Roberto Masazza, Health Director of ASL 8.
