An injured hunter was recovered by the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps in the Iglesias area.

AM, a 50-year-old from Gonnesa, was engaged in a hunting trip in the San Pietro area: he slipped and suffered a trauma to a lower limb. He couldn't move and his companions raised the alarm.

The air ambulance based in Cagliari intervened on site but due to strong winds it was forced to cancel the mission, and the intervention of the ground teams from the Cagliari and Iglesias stations was therefore necessary.

13 rescuers on the field.

The injured person was reached, stabilized and put on a stretcher to be taken to Nebida, where the Sant'Andrea Gonnesa - SO.SA.GO ambulance was waiting to transport him to hospital.
