Cabras, too few buses and too many passengers: many students (with season tickets) are left stranded.

There are only a few buses for students from Cabras who study in Oristano and must return to their hometowns by public transport every day. The ARST bus that leaves at 1:40 PM from the station on Via Cagliari can't hold all the students, which is why many aren't allowed on. This means they have to wait for the bus that leaves at 2:00 PM.
And the same thing happens here too: many are left stranded and forced to wait for the 2:20 PM bus. Furthermore, the young people, on all the journeys, are forced to stand, causing all the inconvenience that entails. A few days ago, Cabras minority councilor Antonello Manca intervened in the matter. "ARST buses are too few compared to the actual needs," he wrote in a note to Cabras Mayor Andrea Abis. "This means that those who regularly pay for tickets and passes are often unable to board the bus, or are forced to travel crammed together with other people, in severe overcrowding."
"This is a situation that can no longer be ignored. This is why I believe it's essential for the mayor to take concrete action by contacting the bus company and requesting that more buses be made available, at least during peak hours," the mayor concluded.
