Nine people are under investigation for the fall of a 14-year-old chorister from the stage (released a few days ago) set up in the archaeological area of Tharros, in the seaside village of San Giovanni di Sinis.

These are the initial findings of investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of Cabras and Oristano, the military of the Labor Inspectorate, and the Workplace Safety Prevention Service of the Local Health Authority.

The Prosecutor's Office is working to determine the possible liability of the technicians who, in various capacities, worked on the facility that was supposed to host the opening concert of the summer season on June 29th. The alleged crimes include serious bodily harm, violation of the rules on the protection of minors at work, and failure to comply with workplace safety regulations.

Before rehearsals, the chorister of the Pierluigi da Palestrina Polyphonic Choir of Cabras fell after backing away on her chair in a section of the church without a guardrail.
