Brutal robbery in Mandas: slaps, kicks and punches against an 89 year old

Brutal house robbery last night in Mandas.
A hoodlum with a covered face broke down the door of the house of an 89-year-old pensioner. He attacked him with slaps, kicks and punches, then threatened him (it is not clear if he was armed) forcing him to reveal where he was hiding the money. I took the money and a shotgun ran away.
The elderly man, despite his injuries, managed to reach the neighbors' home and raise the alarm. The doctors of 118, the Carabinieri of Mandas and of the Company of Dolianova and the specialists of the investigative unit of the provincial command intervened on the spot. The injured was transported in yellow code to the San Gavino hospital with several injuries and a suspected fracture.
The carabinieri are working in an attempt to recover elements useful for identifying the robber, searches and checks were already started last night.
