The acting prosecutor of Tempio Alessandro Bosco has signed the decree of direct summons to court for the rapper Tony Effe and about ten people accused of brawling and damage for what happened at the Sanctuary in Porto Cervo in August 2023 .

This is essentially a request for indictment that skips the preliminary hearing and goes directly to the pre-trial phase.

On August 18, 2023, according to the Prosecutor's Office, Tony Effe and a group of friends were denied entry to the club because at least one person with a criminal record was present: Christian Perozzi, convicted for the beating that killed musician Alberto Bonanni in Rome.

The rapper (born Nicolò Rapisarda) and his friends reacted to the refusal by violently attacking the security staff and trashing the venue (furniture and the window were destroyed, the POS terminals were rendered unusable) . Several people ended up in hospital.

Security personnel who defended themselves will also be put on trial, including a young man from Castelsardo who was forced to undergo 109 days of treatment.

The Sanctuary, represented by lawyer Antonello Desini, announced it will file a civil suit for the damages suffered: material damages, damage to its reputation, and the closure of the premises ordered by the Police Commissioner following the incident.
