Great fear for a 34 year old priest who went missing last night between Porto Managu and Cala Fenuggiu. After hours of searching by sea and land, he was found safe and sound. The man had lost his orientation and was stuck in a cove.

At 9.30pm the report arrived at the Biosa maritime district office, which coordinated the search operations: A Red Cross vehicle was activated, a private dinghy present in the area on board which there was a soldier free from duty and a patrol boat Sar Cp 893 of the Port Authority of Oristano.

The Civil Protection, the Barracelli di Bosa, a Carabinieri patrol and a team of the Fire Brigade were involved in the land searches.

After hours of very demanding searches and made even more complicated by the absence of light, the mist and a jagged stretch of sea that was difficult to reach, the missing person was found by the private dinghy with the soldier on board on the shoreline near Cala Fenuggiu. He was in good condition, just scared and cold: transferred onto the Red Cross vehicle, he was taken to the dock where an ambulance was waiting for him.
