The Municipality of Borore will be the beneficiary of two loans, one equal to 80 thousand euros and the other of 145 thousand euros, granted by the regional public works department for the construction of new niches at the municipal cemetery.
These resources are included in two distinct regional intervention programs that will allow the municipal administration both to overcome the emergency linked to the limited availability of deceased places, and to plan some important routine maintenance interventions, necessary to keep the entire area of the municipal cemetery.
"We are satisfied - affirms the mayor of Borore Tore Ghisu - for the sensitivity and attention that the Regional Department for Public Works has reserved, through these two important funds, for our Municipality. Thanks to them, in fact, it will now be possible to overcome the difficult situation that there was a risk of having, due to the reduced availability of deceased places, despite an initial intervention already carried out at the end of 2021 ".

It also aims to redevelop those older areas of the cemetery, which most require adequate interventions.
"The care for the cemetery - continues the mayor - is always very great in our country. For this reason we will also make sure to implement some maintenance interventions in the historic and older areas of the cemetery, also in order to maintain a high decorum of the whole cemetery area in keeping with the importance of the place, in harmony with the attention and feelings of our fellow citizens ".
