Bono, crushed by a collapsed wall: a forty-one-year-old man dies, his father is seriously injured

Tragedy in Bono, where one person died and one was seriously injured following a collapse inside the garage of a house on Via Guido Rossa.
According to initial reports, Giovanni Antonio Solinas, who will turn 82 in four days, and his 41-year-old son Luigi were repairing a wall that had been damaged by heavy rains on Sunday when the structure collapsed and overwhelmed them.
The younger of the two lost his life, after resuscitation efforts proved futile. His elderly father was airlifted to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro.
