59 administrative sanctions in one weekend. The Barrellare company of Alghero coordinated by Captain Riccardo Paddeu has set up a wide-ranging service within the Capo Caccia - Isola Piana protected marine area aimed at the prevention and repression of illicit activities. A diver had his fishing equipment seized in the Port Agra area, while in the Bramassa area some poachers, upon seeing the barracelli's dinghy, abandoned their catch on the rocks and fled into the pine forest behind. The catch of approximately 5 kg was donated to the Diocesan Caritas of Alghero.

In the Porticciolo area, following the report of a swimmer, a stone artefact was recovered, presumably a Roman amphora. The day ended with the recovery of a young Marsh Harrier injured following a collision with the Alghero-Olmedo-Sassari train. In fairly good condition he was entrusted to the care of the veterinarians of the Agency's Bonassai Wildlife Recovery Center Forestas.

Surveillance activity will be further strengthened thanks to the establishment of a fixed detachment of the barracelli at the Park headquarters in Casa Gioiosa, which will allow for a greater presence and more immediate interventions on land and at sea. Precisely the recent renewal and strengthening of the agreement with the Special Park Agency of Porto Conte has allowed the entry of smart technology for the operational tools supplied to the Barracelli Command in Alghero. The dispute reports and more will be replaced in a few days with PDAs on which dedicated software for local police is installed, connected to DAI banks (PRA and many others) and mini-printers for printing administrative sanctions. The needs for this strengthening are linked to the implementation of a specific project, of which the Capo Caccia - Isola Piana Marine Protected Area is the beneficiary, financed by the European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (EMFF) and concerning Measure 1.40 " Protection and restoration of biodiversity and marine ecosystems and compensation schemes within sustainable fisheries”. The close collaborative relationship with the Alghero Coast Guard, which has been active for many years now, also continues.
