First the communication that, on Friday 22 October, the area in front of the pitches bordering the Tennis Club of the primary school in via Garavetti, in Cagliari, would be affected by the disinfestation against the spread of the spider argia, better known as "black widow", then the decision to close primary school to allow treatment.

The decision of the mayor Paolo Truzzu, which determines the 48-hour stop to classes, comes after the closure of two other schools, this time due to the presence of some cases of scabies .

THE SPIDER - The malmignatta, also called Mediterranean black widow and known as "argia" or "arza", is one of the most dangerous species of spiders living in Sardinia. Its bite injects a poison that causes redness, general malaise, fever and cramps and which, especially in hypersensitive individuals, can even be fatal.
