He goes to his house in Sardinia to spend a week's vacation and upon arrival discovers that a room of the apartment is missing .
It is the story of Fabiano Corti , from Bergamo who spent most of his holidays going back and forth to the police station to report the theft of a room.
It happens in Porto Rotondo , to collect the complaint of the man, an employee of the University of Bergamo, is "L'Eco di Bergamo". The man inherited the house after the death of his mother, who had bought it in 1979.
Many memories bind him to that house, which is located in the Punta Asfodeli residence, in the Rudalza area, given that he spent various holiday periods there with his family.
“As soon as we arrived in June, we immediately noticed something strange, because there was dirt everywhere and pieces of furniture everywhere. But the worst was yet to come – Corti told the Orobic newspaper – because we opened the door of the second bedroom on the upper floor and we realized that the previous wall had been knocked down and another one had been rebuilt about four meters further on. Basically, a room was stolen from us.'
The man is convinced that, taking advantage of the winter, someone has done the work. «The last time someone went there was in September last year, on the 25th my brother left after the holidays. And everything was normal, there was an extra room in the house, so they must have done these illegal jobs in the winter, when nobody's around .'
The Carabinieri of Porto Rotondo are investigating the matter.
