The protagonist is a 38-year-old from Assemini, arrested yesterday by the local police station. He will have to answer for ill-treatment of family members and cohabitants as well as for aggravated personal injuries.
The military intervened yesterday following a call to 112 and ascertained that shortly before the 38-year-old had vented his anger on his partner, whom he had beaten repeatedly in the presence of his younger son.
At the end of the drafting of the documents relating to what happened, at the disposal of the judicial authority, he was accompanied to his parents' home in Assemini, where he will remain under house arrest pending the validation hearing and probable precautionary measures that they will keep away from the house where their wife and child live.
