A man was injured this morning in Bari Sardo following a fall from an olive tree . According to what has been learned, the man was busy harvesting olives in land on the outskirts of the town when, after climbing the tree, for reasons still being investigated, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

The Carabinieri from the Bari Sardo station intervened on site to investigate the case and the 118 medical staff requested the help of the air ambulance for transport to hospital in light of the dynamics of the accident.

Echo Lima 3, the Areus helicopter based in Elmas, landed in Bari Sardo and transported the farmer to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari where all the necessary instrumental checks were carried out. He suffered bruises in the fall. The man's condition is reassuring.
